Guillotine Operator

Gap personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Guillotine Operator to join a busy and well-established company based in Basildon.

Pay: £15 per hour 

Location: Basildon

Working Hours (Rotating Shifts):

• Week 1: 06:00 – 13:30
• Week 2: 13:30 – 21:00

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate.

Duties

• Operating Polar guillotine machines safely and efficiently.
• Cutting materials accurately to job specifications.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Following production schedules and health & safety procedures.
• Keeping the work area clean and organised.

Experience:

• Previous experience operating Polar guillotine machines is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
