William Grant and Sons .Global Travel Retail (GTR) is a crucial channel for William Grant and Sons (WGS) and plays a key role in building brand equity. WGS brands in GTR include Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch, Hendrick’s Gin, Monkey Shoulder, among others. The GTR vision is for our brands to stand out through exceptional visibility and experiences, driving both luxury credentials and commercial value. The mission is to be the category leaders in Single Malts and Gin and to be the number 1 partner of choice for our customers.The Category Development team is central to achieving the GTR mission. In this role, you will build collaborative relationships with customers to deliver value for shoppers, customers, and WGS; lead range and space initiatives with key customers to drive market share gains; support the GTR commercial plan through trend analysis to drive growth; and advance the RTC agenda by driving distribution gains and high execution standards.Responsibilities

Partner commercial teams to lead the category development agenda with customers. Embed the Category Strategy and align customer plans with platforms for future category growth.Develop and foster collaborative relationships with customers. Be the go-to partner for range and space reviews with key strategic customers to gain visibility for our brands and grow the customer’s category RSV.Own the RTC agenda in your region to deliver improved distribution, visibility and quality.Embed the Physical Availability Roadmap internally with WGS commercial teams and customers to win market share.Support best-in-class category-based selling to achieve new listings and back our brand plans, ensuring all plans are rooted in category insight.Analyze data trends to deliver actionable insights and agile performance management: grow depletions and market share; support activation planning, measurement and evaluation (MandE) and investment efficiencies.Provide deeper shopper understanding for key passenger nationalities to drive footfall, conversion, and higher spend in our categories and brands.Support the development of category capability in GTR and maintain a positive reputation within WGS.Our Ideal Candidate
