Group Worker and Coordinator

Solace exists to end the harm done through gender-based violence. We work to prevent violence and abuse and provide services to meet the individual needs of survivors, particularly women and children. About the Service Solace Women''s Aid provides a wide range of services to victims/survivors of domestic and sexual abuse in Islington including a large advocacy and support service and specialist projects co-located in a number of services. About the Role You will coordinate and deliver a range of group sessions for survivors of domestic abuse, including Solace''s ARISE course (a healthy relationship course), peer support groups and wellbeing workshops. You will also act as an external-facing ambassador for the Islington SASS team, working alongside other statutory and non-statutory agencies in the borough to help them identify appropriate referrals to the group.
