Starting Point Recruitment and the wider One Thousand Trades Group are looking for an experienced Group Transactional Accountant to join our finance function. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you''ll take ownership of the day-to-day transactional finance activity across multiple Group businesses, ensuring our financial records are accurate, reconciled and delivered on time. But this isn''t a role where you''ll simply process transactions. You''ll be involved in management accounts, payroll, forecasting, cashflow and financial reporting, giving you the opportunity to develop a much broader understanding of commercial finance while working directly alongside the Group CFO. It''s an ideal opportunity for someone who has built a strong foundation in transactional accounting and is ready to take greater ownership and progress their finance career. What You''ll Be Doing You''ll take responsibility for the day-to-day finance operation across the Group, including: Managing Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and General Ledger Completing Bank, Ledger, Petty Cash, Stock and Balance Sheet reconciliations Managing weekly temporary worker payroll and monthly salaried payroll Supporting pensions, HMRC submissions and payroll reconciliations Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and month-end ..... full job details .....
