Group Technical Accounting Manager

A leading global organisation is looking for a Group Technical Accounting Manager to provide expert technical guidance and ensure best-in-class financial reporting across its international operations. This is a high-impact role where you''ll shape group accounting policies, lead acquisition accounting and purchase price allocation, and support complex cross-border transactions that drive the business forward Responsibilities for the role: Lead group-wide technical accounting projects, including acquisition accounting, PPA, impairment assessments, provisions, leases and financial instrumentsMaintain and update group accounting policies, ensuring full IFRS alignment and delivering training to regional teamsTrack and communicate new IFRS standards quarterlyProvide ad-hoc technical support, preparing technical papers and documenting key judgementsSupport continuous improvement of accounting quality across global reporting teamsAct as a key point of contact for external auditors on technical mattersPartner with FPandA, commercial finance, and systems teams to embed technical requirementsSupport audit processes, including technical disclosures within consolidated financial statementsBuild strong relationships with tax, treasury, legal and regional finance teamsUphold safeguarding responsibilities and contribute to a positive wellbeing culture Requirements for the role: ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with at least five years'' post-qualification experience out of auditStrong technical ..... full job details .....
