Group Team leader

Group Team LeaderWe are seeking an experienced Group Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will lead a small team on the shop floor, ensuring safe, efficient production of sheet metal and fabricated products while meeting quality and output targets.Key responsibilities:- Lead, coach and motivate a team of operators to achieve daily production targets and maintain high standards of quality and safety- Plan and allocate work, monitor progress and adjust resources to meet deadlines- Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality and production procedures- Train and develop team members, carry out performance reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives- Troubleshoot production issues, support first-line technical fixes and liaise with maintenance/engineering as required- Monitor inventory of materials and report shortages or non-conformances- Maintain accurate production records and contribute to shift handoversRequired skills and experience:- Previous manufacturing/production experience, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role- Hands-on experience with sheet metal or fabricated products and an understanding of production processes for these items- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to motivate and manage a diverse team- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment- Basic numeracy and the ability to read production drawings and ..... full job details .....
