Group Tax Manager

We have grown rapidly, with a team of more than 550 across London, New York, Singapore and Sydney, funding raised over $500m and a valuation of $2.7bn.Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Tax Manager will drive the management of the company’s tax affairs globally (UK, APAC, EMEA and North/South America). This role will work with finance and non-finance teams with support from external tax advisors to implement tax planning and compliance, contributing to the group’s future strategy, tax policy and local regulations. This is an opportunity to scale tax processes and procedures in a fast-growth business and to provide best-in-class tax planning, reporting and compliance through the group companies.Duties / Responsibilities

Lead the group’s international tax strategy to support the expansion of a fast growth businessWork with finance, sales, legal and other teams to understand and control tax implications and risks of business activitiesDevelop tax policies and procedures and own implementation across the groupServe as key contact for UK and international tax authorities and auditorsSupport the assessment and maintenance of group transfer pricing policy and ensure fits for all locations globally with up-to-date documentationOwn annual corporation tax reporting and tax returns, and coordinate monthly or quarterly indirect tax reporting with accounting teamsSupport the Group Financial Controller in reviewing group tax position, structure and actions to manage tax risksSupport or lead ad hoc projects as the team and business expand internationallyRequirements

Essential

Ability to apply tax knowledge and skills in a commercial environmentProven UK and international tax experience for a sizeable group with strong practice-based trainingQualified tax accountant with understanding of financial controls and best practicesExcellent communication skills; ability to articulate tax matters to both finance and non-finance teamsDriven and able to balance multiple prioritiesThrives on finance and business changes and their tax implicationsDesirable
