This is a key role that supports an NFP organisation in navigating complex tax matters while ensuring adherence to relevant regulationsClient DetailsA large, purpose-driven NFP business that plays a vital role in supporting communities across the UK.DescriptionManage the preparation and submission of VAT, Corporation Tax, CIS, Gift Aid and Employment Tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations.Provide tax advice and assess the impact of business decisions from a tax perspective.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external advisers and HMRC.Keep up to date with changes in tax and accounting legislation and advise on any business impact.Identify opportunities to improve tax efficiency and reduce risk.Support the wider business with tax and technical accounting queries, projects and new initiatives.Act as the main point of contact for HMRC and manage all related correspondence.Assist with tax reporting and year-end accounting requirements.Strengthen financial controls and drive process improvements across the finance function.Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving issues where required.Help develop and implement finance policies and procedures in line with changing regulations and accounting standards.Enhance the use of finance systems and reporting ..... full job details .....
