Group Tax Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a talented tax manager to join Breedon''s group finance team based at Breedon-on-the-Hill, near East Midlands Airport (hybrid working available).The role will give the successful candidate exposure to a wide variety of UK taxes, together with some involvement in US and Irish taxes given the Group''s acquisitive nature. In addition, the role offers plenty of opportunity for cross functional collaboration with the wider business.About BreedonBreedon Group plc a FTSE 250 construction materials group in Great Britain, Ireland and the United States employing around 4,500 people. It operates two cement plants and an extensive network of quarries, asphalt plants and ready-mixed concrete plants, together with slate production, concrete and clay products manufacturing, contract surfacing and highway maintenance operations. The Group is highly acquisitive. In 2020 it completed the £178 million acquisition of trade and assets from Cemex which followed £455 million acquisition of Lagan Group in 2018 and the £336 million acquisition of Hope Construction Products in 2016, alongside various smaller transactions. In March 2024, Breedon expanded into the USA with the acquisition of BMC Enterprises Inc for USD$300 million. In March 2025, Breedon expanded further into the US market with the acquisition of Lionmark Construction Companies LLC for USD$238 million.
