Group Supply Chain Director

Overview

Global Supply Chain Director. Hybrid role requiring weekly presence at sites based in Kent and Essex. Salary £65,000-£85,000pa. We are seeking a visionary Group Supply Chain Director to take the reins of a high-performing international operation.Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of production and manufacturing in the UK, including production planning, release of work orders and quality checking processes.Oversee all aspects of procurement for the UK and Germany, purchasing from various suppliers, including setting up contracts, raising POs, site audits and everything in-between.Oversee all aspects of product storage, handling and distribution in the UK and Germany.Maintain full control of stock levels in the UK and Germany, set safety stocks, and provide forecasts.Manage the 3PL logistics provider, including uploading sales orders.Manage suppliers and strategy based in Asia.Manage the UK production team, buyer/planner (6 direct reports).Secure year-on-year cost savings within the supply chain.Manage and minimise supply chain and production risk.Assist with the QMS (ISO) systems and audits.Strategically expand, preserve or improve company procedures, standards or policies.Adhere to regulatory guidelines.Identify and manage commercial risks.Regularly review pricing strategies and implement regular price increases.Proactively de-risk the supply chain away from single-source vendors.Candidate Profile
