About usAvencia Consulting are partnered with a well known Reinsurer based in the City, who are looking to hire a Group Reporting Accountant to join their London team!We are keen to speak to Accounting professionals working in the insurance industry or in Audit partnering with Insurance clients.The roleReporting into the Group Reporting Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a PQ or newly qualified Accountant to join a high performing team where you will influence multiple senior stakeholders.You will be rewarded wit support to professional development whilst gaining on the job training by your manager and the team to upskill in accounting standards and be exposed to ad hoc projects.Key accountabilitiesAssist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, KPIs and financial supplements for Group of CompaniesAssist with the preparation of monthly consolidation, liaising with other finance teams and IT support as requiredAssist with the preparation of monthly accounting entries to record the financial results of the MGAs, including consolidation adjustments, minority interest calculations and the annual VIE assessments.Assist with the preparation of the Group US GAAP financial statementsAssist with the coordination and production of the financial statements of the Group.Assist with the coordination and work with auditors to prepare the VAT and CT entity returns.Assist with the preparation of the monthly reporting timetable to ensure all deadlines are ..... full job details .....
