Group Material Specification Technologist

12 Month FTC Role Purpose To lead the Group Material Specification team, to provide Greencore with the required Technical compliance documentation, ensuring that product food safety regulations are met, and documentation is produced in line with critical path timescales and launch deadlines Key AccountabilitiesMaintenance of up to date and accurate specifications for all live materialsManagement of internal and external stakeholder relationships, provision of support to resolve escalations of non-compliance and delivery of consistent ways of workingLeadership of the Group Material Specification team, providing support and guidance, ensuring that a lean enterprise culture is established and all colleagues are performing to their potentialOngoing maintenance and continuous improvement of the online specification system and processes and policies within scope of remit, driving simplicity and consistency of outcomes by streamlining core processesManagement of raw material change to ensure accuracy of specificationsProvision of accurate and timely specification data to key internal stakeholders to support reporting and decision makingEnsure compliance with relevant regulatory and labelling changes and updated customer technical policies, within scope of remitReview of content to develop template specifications for each material to improve complianceWork closely with material suppliers and internal teams to agree quality parameters of materials, supporting appropriate checks at ..... full job details .....
