Group Management Accountant

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Management Accountant in Bridgend. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and fully qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant seeking to advance their career within the automotive sector.

Management Accountant in Bridgend responsibilities include overseeing monthly financial accounts, managing cash flow, completing payroll for management and family staff, supervising the Sales and Purchase Ledger team, and liaising with other line managers. The role reports directly to the Financial Director and other members of the Board of Directors, establishing you as a senior team member. Key duties also encompass maintaining strong balance sheet control measures and overseeing intercompany reconciliation processes.

The role requires a highly organised, self-motivated professional with strong communication and numeracy skills. Previous experience managing an accounts department with multiple team members is essential. Knowledge of the automotive industry, familiarity with a DMS system, and proficient report creation and manipulation in Microsoft Excel are vital. The ideal Management Accountant will demonstrate skills in delegating tasks effectively and maintaining accurate financial controls.
