Group Management Accountant

Ascent Recruitment Ltd is excited to support a successful wholesale business in South Manchester in their search for a skilled Group Management Accountant. Reporting to a fantastic Group Financial Controller, this role is ideal for a qualified Management Accountant looking to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities: UK and Global Business Entities: Oversee financial activities across multiple entities. Enhance the quality and timeliness of deliverables, providing detailed insights to support decision-making. Manage the production of monthly management accounts/reports and oversee the annual audit process for Group entities. Balance Sheet Reconciliations and conduct ad hoc financial analyses. Business Partnering Budgeting and Forecasting Identify and implement process and control improvements. Board Pack reporting Ad Hoc support and analysis Key Skills/Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA) Experienced in month-end processes, balance sheet responsibilities, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficient in Excel. Strong communication and business partnering abilities. Salary and Benefits: 54,000- 58,000 Hybrid Working 7 % pension contribution. 30 days'' holiday/additional days plus bank holidays.
