Group Leader

Questech Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Group Leader to join a well-established food manufacturing operation. This would suit someone who has experience as a production shift manager in the food and beverage sector or even the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have experience leading change and delivering exceptional Health and Safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to manage a team of production operators, deliver shift targets and maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and efficiency. Salary: 42,000 - 43,000 Shifts Are 3 Week Rotation: Week 1 - Monday and Tuesday on Days, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday on Nights (60 Hours) Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday on Days (36 Hours) Week 3 - Monday and Tuesday on Nights (24 Hours) Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operators. Deliver daily production plans and monitor KPIs. Ensure compliance with health and safety, GMP, hygiene and food safety standards. Manage shift resources, team performance, holidays and return-to-work interviews. Monitor production output, downtime and raw material availability. Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality procedures and CCP checks. Lead daily production meetings and complete accurate shift handovers. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and waste reduction. Work closely with Quality, Engineering and management to resolve operational issues.
