Group Insurance and Claims ManagerLocation: Birmingham / HybridSalary: Competitive DOEWe are seeking an experienced Group Insurance and Claims Manager to take ownership of the insurance programme and claims function for a major UK rail freight and logistics business, with responsibility across the UK and elements of the wider European operation.This is a broad and highly visible role, working closely with senior management, Finance, Legal, Commercial, HSSE, insurers, brokers, loss adjusters and solicitors.You will play a key role in developing insurance strategy, managing the annual renewal programme, overseeing claims across multiple classes of business and helping to reduce the organisation''s total cost of risk through effective insurance, loss prevention, contractual risk transfer and claims management.The business supports customers across the construction, aggregates, cement, steel, timber, waste, energy and industrial sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Group''s annual insurance renewal programme.Manage the insurance claims function across both insured and uninsured claims.Work closely with brokers, insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors, claimants and their representatives.Support insurers with the investigation and management of claims across multiple lines of insurance.Manage the defence, negotiation and settlement of sub-deductible and uninsured claims.Manage and maintain accurate claims and loss reporting information for financial and management ..... full job details .....
