You will operate as the subject matter expert for all HSE matters, helping to create safe, compliant and high-performing workplaces while supporting business growth and operational excellence. RESPONSIBILITIESLead the development and implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental strategy, policies and standardsConduct audits, risk assessments and compliance reviewsDrive a proactive safety culture through coaching, training and engagement initiativesLead investigations into incidents, near misses and safety concernsIdentify root causes and implement preventative actionsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSEssentialProven experience in a senior Health and Safety role within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environmentStrong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation, compliance requirements and best practiceExperience conducting audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and safety improvement programmesStrong communication, organisational and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solvingNEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 5/6 or equivalent Health and Safety qualificationDesirableKnowledge ..... full job details .....
