Position: Group Health and Safety ManagerLocation: Wombwell, Barnsley, South YorkshireSalary: 55,000- 70,000 DOEWorking Arrangement: Site-based / Group-wide responsibilitiesEmployment Type: PermanentA Group Health and Safety Manager is required in Wombwell, Barnsley, for our client, a UK-based group specialising in structural steel and engineering activities across the UK and European markets.Group Health and Safety Manager Job OverviewThis role will lead the development and implementation of the Group''s Health and Safety strategy, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, improving safety performance and promoting a positive health and safety culture across all Group companies.Working with colleagues across the business, you will oversee health and safety management systems, lead incident investigations, provide guidance on legislative compliance and ensure consistent standards across factory and construction environments. You will also manage a team of health and safety professionals and maintain certification to ISO 45001.Group Health and Safety Manager Job RequirementsNEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in general Health and Safety or Construction.Preferably Chartered IOSH membership, with experience of relevant health and safety legislation and standards.At least three years'' experience in a health and safety role at a similar level.Experience working within a construction or factory environment.Knowledge of large-scale construction, CDM regulations and working ..... full job details .....
