Group Health and Safety Manager

Covering 6 concurrent packages of work and increasing to 10 in 2027, my client are now looking for a capable Health and Safety Professional to run the UK department, reporting into the Managing and Construction Director.

My client pride themselves on working alongside tier 1 main contractors, as well as leading developers, so names like Mace, Skanska, Sir Robert Mcalpine, Berkeley Group and Mount Anvil are just a handful of names you''ll be working alongside on a daily basis.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Responsible for ensuring, monitoring, and enforcing safety standards, regulations, and risk mitigation strategies for exterior building envelope packages
• Develop site-specific health and safety policies, manage contractor compliance, and oversee high-risk installation activities to ensure a zero-tolerance, positive safety culture
• Developing and reviewing site-specific method statements, risk assessments, and technical details to prevent accidents
• Carrying out regular site inspections, audits, and delivering health and safety training sessions to personnel
• If they arise, managing, reporting, and analysing safety breaches or incidents, implementing corrective actions

For the right candidate, my client would look to pay up to £95k plus package for the right person.
