This pivotal role supports effective financial management and decision-making, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and maintaining a strong control environment.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Group Financial Reporting - UK and ROI entitiesGroup ConsolidationStatutory Reporting and AccountsTechnical Accounting and ComplianceBalance Sheet and Financial ControlsManagement Information and AnalysisSystems, Processes and Continuous Improvement:Audit, Governance and Risk:Leadership and People ManagementRequired Skills and Qualifications:Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).Minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience in financial reporting.Proven leadership experience with at least 1 year managing finance professionals.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated ability to enhance financial reporting processes and controls.Desirable Skills:Experience in financial reporting within both the UK and ROI.Background in a not-for-profit organisation and familiarity with Charities SORP.Proficiency in ERP and financial reporting systems like Oracle or ..... full job details .....
