Role: Group Financial DirectorLocation: South Staffordshire (on-site)Salary: c. £120-£140k BenefitsFD Recruit is working exclusively with a privately owned specialist construction and plant hire group based in South Staffordshire, between Wolverhampton and Cannock, to appoint a Group Finance Director. The group has grown consistently year on year, with turnover now approaching £25M across multiple companies, and this appointment is a direct result of that growth. The owners have ambitious plans to go significantly further, and they want a finance leader alongside the CEO to shape and support that next phase.Why this roleThis is a group role in structure - multiple entities, consolidation, intercompany - but an SME in character. You will be the number one in finance, a member of the senior leadership team working closely with the CEO and the wider executive, responsible for everything from strategy at the boardroom table to the quality of the month-end close, without a larger group function behind you.
