Venn Group is delighted to be supporting a leading international cultural and educational charity in their search for an experienced Group Financial Controller. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will take responsibility for all aspects of financial accounting, statutory reporting, and finance policy, ensuring robust financial management across the organisation’s global operations.Responsibilities

Lead statutory accounting, group consolidations, and UK Group financial reportingManage month-end close processes and ensure accuracy in management informationOversee financial reporting and compliance for subsidiaries, branches, and other legal entities worldwideDevelop and maintain robust financial policies, internal controls, and compliance frameworksLead cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and intercompany arrangementsPartner with the Director of Finance Transformation to manage ERP-based processes and the Managed Service ProviderDrive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and compliance metricsSupport talent development and high-performance culture within the global finance communityAct as a key change agent for finance transformation initiativesBuild strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, including auditors and company secretariatIdeal candidate profile

CCAB-qualified accountant with extensive post-qualification experience in senior finance rolesProven experience leading multi-location finance teams in international, multicultural organisationsExpertise in statutory reporting (UK GAAP, Charities SORP), financial control, and complianceStrong analytical, influencing, and stakeholder management skillsExperience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, and shared service operationsStrategic thinker with the ability to deliver large-scale change and improvementsFlexible, proactive, and able to perform effectively in a rapidly changing environmentAgency reference number:
