Group Financial Controller

Role - Group Financial Controller Location - Bolton Salary - Between £80,000 and £100,000 + additional benefitsMarks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing PE backed business in their search for a Group Financial Controller to work out of their office based just outside Bolton with a hybrid working model.The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified and must have worked for a complex business previously. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of consolidating accounts would be preferable. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working within a PE backed environment previously would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Group Financial Controller role will involve:Responsible for the group consolidated financial statementsLead on the timely delivery of management reportingLead on improving processes and systems throughout the organisationAssist with providing financial information for acquisitionsPrepare and review year end statutory accountsResponsible for the group VATBudgeting and forecastingProduce and present key financial reportingManagement of a sizeable finance teamSalary for the role is up to £100,000 + benefitsThis is a fantastic opportunity for a technically savvy individual who wants to work for a cash rich organisation who are continually evolving and acquiring new businesses.
