Group Financial Controller

Role - Group Financial Controller Location - Preston Salary - Between £85,000 and £110,000 + additional benefits Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing PE backed business in their search for a Group Financial Controller to work out of their office based just outside Preston with a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified and must have worked for a complex business previously. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of consolidating accounts would be preferable. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working within a PE backed environment previously would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Group Financial Controller role will involve: Responsible for the group consolidated financial statements Lead on the timely delivery of management reporting Lead on improving processes and systems throughout the organisation Assist with providing financial information for acquisitions Prepare and review year end statutory accounts Responsible for the group VAT and tax compliance Investor reporting Look to strengthen internal controls and processes Produce and present key financial reporting Management of a finance team Salary for the role is between £ + additional benefits This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically savvy individual who wants to work for a PE backed ..... full job details .....
