Group Financial Controller

HFG are currently partnering with a London Market insurer to appoint a Senior Finance Leader. This role sits within the Finance Leadership team and is responsible for overseeing the corporate finance function across UK and overseas entities, as well as leading the finance operations team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will ensure timely, accurate financial reporting, maintain strong controls, and drive process improvements. You will also act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders to deliver both business-as-usual and change initiatives.Responsibilities:Lead the corporate finance function across UK and overseas entitiesManage the finance operations team, ensuring accuracy, compliance and controlAct as the main finance contact for internal and external partnersOversee financial reporting in line with UK GAAP and IFRSDrive continuous improvement across finance processes and systemsDeliver timely financial analysis, reporting and performance insightsMaintain a robust financial control environmentManage audit processes and regulatory submissionsSupport and deliver finance change projects while maintaining BAUProfile:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)5+ years'' senior finance experience in the London MarketStrong leadership and stakeholder management capabilityDeep knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRSSkilled in financial reporting, data analysis and systems (SUN/Oracle GL desirable)Experience with Lloyd''s Syndicate accounting and associated ..... full job details .....
