About the Business A fantastic opportunity to join a growing, multi-site group as a Group Financial Controller, based near Worcester. The business operates across manufacturing and has grown significantly through acquisition, with continued ambitions for organic growth and further MandA. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a finance function that is evolving from a traditional, control-focused team into a more insight-led, commercially minded one, working closely alongside the Group Finance Director. Main Duties: As a Group Financial Controller, your main duties include: Leading the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycle, and owning the month-end close timetable to ensure information is accurate, timely and well controlled Preparing and reviewing management accounts, including PandL, balance sheet, cashflow and variance commentary Maintaining strong balance sheet control and overseeing the completion and review of reconciliations Strengthening financial controls and driving consistent accounting treatment across sites, entities and newly acquired businesses Supporting statutory reporting, audit, tax and wider group reporting requirements Assisting the Group Finance Director with board packs, investor reporting and senior leadership updates Leading the annual budgeting and operating plan process, alongside ownership of the rolling forecast cycle Analysing monthly and quarterly performance to identify key drivers of revenue, margin, overheads, ..... full job details .....
