Amoria Group is seeking an experienced and motivated
Group Financial Controller
to lead our finance function in Manchester. This is a senior leadership role responsible for financial reporting, compliance, cashflow management, and supporting business growth across a group of international subsidiaries.You will play a key part in managing financial operations, overseeing audits, preparing statutory accounts, and partnering with senior leadership to drive business performance. This role offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy in a growing international organisation.Key Responsibilities
Lead the production of accurate monthly management accounts and group consolidated financial statementsManage annual statutory accounts, tax filings, and ensure compliance with international regulationsOversee external audits for the group and subsidiaries, liaising with UK and overseas advisorsLead cashflow forecasting, intercompany reconciliations, and credit line reportingProvide financial analysis and variance reporting to the CFO and divisional leadershipSupport preparation of annual budgets and forecastsManage and develop a finance team including Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, Payroll Lead, and TreasurerEnsure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and group policiesProvide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making at Board levelRequired Qualifications and Experience
ACA or ACCA qualified accountantSeveral years of senior finance experience within a multi-entity, international organisationStrong knowledge of statutory accounts, group consolidations, and international accounting standardsExperience in managing multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange movementsProven track record of managing and developing finance teamsAdvanced Excel and strong financial modelling skillsDesirable Experience
Mergers and acquisitions (MandA) exposureProfessional services sector experienceExperience preparing European statutory accountsHands-on experience with cash management and payroll oversightSkills and Competencies
Strong attention to detail and analytical abilityExcellent communication skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levelsCommercially aware with strong problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentLeadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing finance teamWhy Join Amoria Group
