We are now looking for an experienced and motivated
Group Financial Controller
to join our team and play a key role in driving the financial performance and compliance of our growing international business.
About the RoleAs Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
Leading the production of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts for the group and subsidiaries
Managing day-to-day cashflow, intercompany reconciliations, and foreign currency reporting
Overseeing audits across the group and liaising with UK and overseas advisors to ensure compliance
Preparing tax filings (corporation tax, VAT, payroll taxes) and ensuring deadlines are met
Supporting the CFO with budgets, forecasts, and financial strategy
Managing and developing a multi-disciplinary finance team
This is a high-impact role where you will act as a key business partner to senior leadership, providing financial insights to support decision-making while maintaining strong financial controls across the group.
What We’re Looking ForEssential qualifications and experience:
ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
Several years in a senior finance role, ideally within a group of £100m–£300m turnover and 400+ employees
Strong knowledge of statutory accounts, consolidations, and international accounting standards
Experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency operations
Proven leadership experience with teams of around 10 people
MandA exposure
Professional services industry background
Budgeting, forecasting, and payroll oversight experience
Skills and behaviours:
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commercial awareness
Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across the business
Resilient, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Advanced Excel skills
