Salary: -60,000 - -65,000
Working pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
About the role
We are a UK medical manufacturing company, and we are recruiting a Group Financial Analyst to join our Finance Department. You will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, and for spotting and explaining the key trends and results across the business, so that we can run more efficiently.
What you''ll be doing
Working with key contacts across our worldwide entities to gather the data behind our monthly reporting
Interrogating that data to identify trends and explain variances from budget
Presenting results to senior management, with suggestions for continually improving performance
Building working relationships with a number of interrelated departments
What you''ll bring
Essential:
An appropriate accounting qualification (e.g. ICAEW-ACA, ACCA or an equivalent level)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, evaluate, critically interpret and communicate information
A methodical, organised approach and excellent attention to detail
The ability to work to deadlines under pressure, multitask and prioritise your workload
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Confidence in negotiating and making decisions
Experience of working safely and in line with Health and Safety legislation
The ability to work in a highly regulated environment with a focus on compliance
Good spoken English
Flexibility to work additional hours when the business needs it
Desirable:
Experience of manufacturing businesses
Extensive Microsoft Office knowledge, including effective use of AI to generate data
Demonstrable critical analysis of data, including identifying and analysing business trends and opportunities
