Group Financial Accountant

This is a pivotal role within the Finance team, taking ownership of all aspects of financial accounting and acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders.As a senior member of the accounting function, you will lead on statutory reporting, ensure strong financial controls, supervise team members, and help drive continuous improvement across financial processes. This position offers a fantastic platform to grow your management, commercial and technical skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review statutory accounts for all entitiesEnsure full tax and statutory compliance, meeting all reporting standards and deadlinesPrepare and submit statutory returns including VAT, PAYEManage General Ledgers and maintain consistent chart of accountsOversee the month-end process, ensuring accuracy and timely closePrepare and review all balance sheet reconciliations and lead schedulesDrive process improvements and strengthen financial controlsManage intercompany accounting, invoicing and reconciliation of intercompany balancesPrepare monthly consolidated trial balance, PandL, balance sheet and cashflow statementsAct as key liaison for external auditors during the annual statutory auditWork with tax advisors and review corporation tax computationsAbout ..... full job details .....
