Group Financial Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly/recently qualified accountant making their first move out of Audit. This will be a varied role and work across group; producing management accounts, technical accounting, with stakeholder engagement and a range of interesting projects. Client DetailsOur client is a market leading UK Wide Organisation with a best in class finance function, based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.DescriptionThe successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entitiesSupport with group consolidations and intercompany reconciliationsKey involvement in the year-end audit process, acting as the main contact for auditorsBalance sheet reconciliations and review of financial controls and processesSupport cashflow reporting and provide financial analysis where requiredPartner with operational teams to improve financial understanding and reportingDrive process improvements across reporting and controlsProfileThe successful candidate will likely have the following profile:ICAS/ACCA Newly-QualifedStrong grounding in financial reporting and auditExposure to multi-entity or group structures advantageousConfident communicator with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholdersStrong Excel skills and high attention to detailKeen to make a first move into industry and develop commerciallyJob ..... full job details .....
