Group Financial Accountant

Join a growing finance team and play a key role in delivering year-end financial statements for Everywhen. This role offers broad exposure across technical accounting, acquisition accounting, regulatory reporting and legal entity lifecycle management - ideal for someone who enjoys variety, ownership and working with senior stakeholders.This is a hybrid role that will require 1 or 2 days per week in our Leeds office.What You''ll Be DoingSupport and coordinate the year-end process for Everywhen''s financial statementsReview statutory accounts to ensure compliance with FRS 101 and legal requirementsWork closely with external auditors and internal finance teams to meet reporting deadlinesPrepare regulatory, tax and other external submissionsPrepare quarterly reporting packs for the group finance teamProduce tax packs and supporting information for the internal tax teamCreate accounting entries for acquisitions and intra-group transfersOversee legal entity lifecycle activities, including strike-offsProvide technical accounting, regulatory and tax insightWhat You''ll BringDegree in a business or accountancy disciplineACA/ACCA qualificationStrong knowledge of FRS 101 and IFRSAdvanced Excel skillsExperience in external reporting and regulatory requirements (ideally insurance intermediaries)A proactive, detail-driven approach with strong communication and stakeholder skillsIf you''re a quick learner who enjoys technical accounting and wants to grow in a dynamic environment, this is a ..... full job details .....
