Group Financial Accountant

Competitive starting salary range from £46,115 up to £52,597 (dependent on experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered. The Role We are recruiting a Group Financial Accountant to join the leaderships team of the Finance department. In this role you will be responsible for the control and preparation of the groups annual financial statements and meeting the submission deadline, reviewing the balance sheet control risk account reconciliations and identify all risks that need to be identified on the appropriate risk register. This role will take ownership of the planning, delivering, monitoring and reviewing the completion of the annual financial statements for the University Group, including working with the relevant directors to complete the subsidiary companies draft financial statements in readiness for the approval from the Subsidiaries Company Board of Directors.
