Job Purpose

To oversee the accounting function, ensuring financial integrity by supervising staff, preparing and analysing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Main Duties

  • Analyse financial statements, prepare reports, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and monitor expenditure.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with current legislation and regulations.
  • Review and audit financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay informed of changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage and supervise the accounting team, including workload allocation, delegation, and performance oversight.
  • Promote efficient workflows and continuous improvement within the finance function.
