Pin Point Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Group Facilities, Quality & Safety Manager to join a well-established manufacturing business.
Our client is a leading provider of print, direct mail, fulfilment, data management, postage solutions and bespoke packaging services, supporting businesses across the UK and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business in a key leadership position. Although based from the Peterborough site, you will oversee five UK locations, ensuring the highest standards of facilities management, quality assurance and health & safety compliance across the group.
The Role
As the Group Facilities, Quality & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across facilities, quality systems and health & safety. You''ll work closely with senior management to ensure compliance, improve operational performance and create a safe, efficient working environment across all five sites.
This is a hands-on role that combines strategic planning with day-to-day operational support.
About You
We''re looking for an experienced manager who has worked within a manufacturing or production environment and can confidently lead multiple disciplines across several sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilities
- Manage facilities across five UK sites, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and well maintained.
- Coordinate planned preventative maintenance and oversee contractors.
- Manage supplier relationships and service level agreements.
- Develop improvement plans to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Manage facilities budgets and monitor expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory building and maintenance requirements.
- Quality
- Lead and maintain the company''s Quality Management Systems.
- Manage ISO standards, internal audits and customer quality requirements.
- Investigate non-conformances and implement effective corrective actions.
- Produce monthly quality reports and KPI analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain and update quality documentation and procedures.
- Health & Safety
- Lead Health & Safety across five manufacturing sites.
- Ensure compliance with all UK Health & Safety legislation.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits and site inspections.
- Lead incident investigations and implement preventative actions.
- Support site management with Health & Safety initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.
- Deliver and monitor Health & Safety training and compliance.
- Manage monthly Health & Safety reporting and performance metrics.
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a Facilities, Quality and Health & Safety management role within manufacturing.
Experience managing multiple sites would be highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of ISO quality standards and auditing.
Excellent understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation.
IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel between sites when required.
