Group Facilitator - Domestic Abuse ServiceLocation: North Somerset, office-based in Weston-super-Mare (TBC), with travel across the areaHours: 14.8 hours per weekContract: Permanent, part-timeSalary: 28,884 - 31,698 Full time equivalent ( 11,553.60 - 12,679.20 pro rata)Benefits:Flexible working arrangements25 days'' annual leave, rising to 30 days, plus bank holidaysUp to 6% matched pension contributionsEnhanced sick and family leaveOngoing training and professional developmentCycle to work schemeEye care and winter flu vouchersA well reputed charity is looking for an experienced Group Facilitator to join its Domestic Abuse Healing and Empowerment Counselling Service in North Somerset.This role will focus on providing group support to adult survivors of domestic abuse, helping people build confidence, develop coping strategies and move forward following their experiences.About the role - Group FacilitatorYou will:Plan and lead psycho-educational and pre-therapy groups.Run post-counselling and drop-in support groups, both in person and online.Carry out assessments for people referred to the groups.Plan activities and consider any risks involved.Train and support a small number of volunteer group facilitators.Gather feedback from people using the service and use this to improve the groups.Keep accurate and confidential records.Provide training to local professionals and support staff around early identification, referrals and signposting.Work with other organisations and ..... full job details .....
