Group & Events Planning Executive

is seeking to hire an enthusiastic
Group and Events Planning Executive .
With the support of the Event Manager this role will be responsible for the planning and coordination of all group and event bookings. The role supports the group and event sales team with re-contracting annual bookings, increasing group and event revenues through upselling techniques, and delivering outstanding experiences for all group and events.

Key Accountabilities
Plan and coordinate group and event bookings to create memorable and innovative experiences
Support the sales team with re-contracting annual and repeat bookings
Increase group and event revenues through creative, effective upselling techniques
Collaborate with Sales, Revenue, FandB and Marketing to drive revenues and enhance brand profile
Participate in alignment meetings such as daily hotel and division briefings, monthly sales and marketing, group resume meetings, pre-con meetings, client feedback meetings, daily and weekly BEO meetings, operational feedback meetings and credit/PM meetings
Manage relationships with external approved Peninsula London suppliers to drive revenues through other revenue streams
General Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in planning, banquet, events or conference services
Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and staff
Fluent English language skills
