Group Commercial Financial Controller

A leading organisation in Manchester City Centre is seeking a Group Financial Controller to join their finance team on a 12month Fixed Term Contract. You will play a pivotal role in leading the financial management, controls, commercials and and strategic planning, while driving continuous improvements. You will have the chance to lead and develop a high-performing finance team dedicated to delivering effective outcomes aligned with organisational goals and a collaborative culture. By leading external audits and producing statutory accounts you will uphold the highest standards of financial integrity. Additionally, you will spearhead change initiatives aimed at improving processes throughout the finance function. Working closely with other business areas you will support strategic rollouts such as productivity improvements while guiding integration of acquisitions into the group structure. Leading month and year end reporting, external audits and producing statutory accounts Lead, manage, coach and nurture a high-performing finance team that consistently delivers efficient outcomes in line with agreed performance targets. Oversee the production of high-quality actuals reporting and balance sheet management with an emphasis on accuracy, robust controls, and clear financial storytelling. Develop and maintain a comprehensive internal control framework for the company including standards for subsidiary controls and transfer pricing.
