About the Role:
As the Group Catering Manager, you will be at the forefront of transforming the food culture across multiple education sites. We''re looking for someone who can inspire, motivate, and lead our catering teams to achieve the highest standards of food provision. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, motivating and managing catering teams to enhance overall performance.
- Be hands-on in the kitchens when needed, while also providing IT and office support to Catering Managers.
- Ensure that food presentation and production meet our high standards.
- Maintain quality, safety, and security across all sites.
- Engage in menu development that aligns with the unique needs of each school.
- Infuse creativity into menus, incorporating world flavours and nutritional values.
- Implement robust stock control and manage ordering with local suppliers.
- Oversee budget profitability, including food and labour costs.
- Coach and develop teams to reach their full potential.
- Promote all facilities to maximise their potential.
What We''re Looking For:
- A strong leader with exceptional communication skills, able to connect with students, clients, and stakeholders.
- An innovative thinker with a contemporary approach to food, eager to bring high street offerings to our menus.
- Experience in a similar environment with supervisory or management qualifications.
- Knowledge of health and safety, as well as food safety standards.
- IT proficiency and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A driver''s licence is essential for this role.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including evenings for special functions.
