- Basic Salary: Circa £80,000 | OTE: £100,000 +

Our client, a leading Commercial Vehicle Main Dealer with over 30 years of Trading based in Southampton, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Aftermarket Manager to oversee their Workshop and Parts departments. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role perfect for someone passionate about delivering customer service excellence and driving business growth.
Our client deals with a number of Haulage Businesses and Commercials enterprises, ensuring them whether they are purchasing a vehicle, or maintaining a commercial vehicle, they are providing both individual customers and large multinational companies an excellent service. What Will You Be Doing as a Group Aftermarket Manager£
- Cultivating a successful business sales culture focused on customer service excellence, customer retention, and new business growth in both Workshop and Parts.
- Operating to achieve high KPI standards, including MOT pass rates, Manufacturer breakdown results, Rex CSS reports, and maintaining dealer standards and audits.
- Integrating into company systems (e.g., E-Wip, DMS job card creation, workshop control, and parts processes) for a comprehensive understanding of operations.
- Managing daily workshop activities to ensure productivity, stock control, and quality performance measures are consistently met.
- Increasing efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability by engaging the team in meeting productivity and financial targets.
- Ensuring robust group-standardised policies are followed by all staff.
- Identifying and implementing training needs for all staff, including recruitment and development.
- Conducting Depot audits, daily/weekly/monthly checks to ensure compliance with Health and Safety and ISO standards.
- Monitoring and managing profitability while controlling costs to add value to the business.
- Leading business development activities by attending monthly CAT meetings with BDM, Parts, and Service teams to resolve issues and grow the business.
- Managing aged debt queries and advising on investment spend to benefit all locations.
- Building strong relationships with customers to promote vehicle sales and parts growth.
- Attending management meetings, which may require travel to other locations.
What Do You Need to Be a Group Aftermarket Manager£
- Proven success in a similar managerial role within the Commercial Vehicle or Automotive industry.
- Strong background in sales, workshop management, and parts operations.
- Hands-on technical or mechanical experience.
- Strong leadership, communication skills, and a collaborative approach to managing teams.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and ISO compliance standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while driving operational efficiencies and profitability.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
