Right now, we are looking for a Group Activities Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our Complex Needs Service in Kensington and Chelsea. Sounds great, what will I be doing? The Group Activities Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating community-based activities that support adults with mental health needs to increase independence, wellbeing and social inclusion. This is a hands-on management role with responsibility for supervising and developing Group Facilitators, volunteers and students. The post holder will provide leadership, guidance and oversight to ensure activities are safe, effective and recovery-focused, while maintaining high standards of service delivery. The successful candidate will be confident managing complex situations, including safeguarding concerns, mental health crises, disengagement from services and other risk-related issues. They will support staff with decision making, ensure risks are appropriately managed and escalated, and promote a culture of accountability, learning and continuous improvement.
