GROUP ACCOUNTANT Banbury, OxfordshireSalary to £75,000T2M Resourcing have been retained to recruit this Group Accountant role for a leading software services company due to internal promotion. This hybrid role (3 days in the office / 2 days flexible) is within easy walking distance of London Euston and Kings Cross railway stations!This privately equity backed group has an exceptional customer base and comprises a number of group companies that complement each other, generating multiple recurring revenue streams. The role requires a technically strong qualified accountant with prior experience of working as a Group Accountant or auditing group companies.What will you be doing?The Group Accountant reports to the Group Financial Controller and manages a small team of part qualified staff. The company use Xero accountancy software and make extensive use of Excel. Your responsibilities will include:Responsibility for all aspects of month end management accounts and statutory reporting processes (UK GAAP and IFRS), consolidating results from multiple UK and US entities.Ensure all statutory reporting requirements are submitted on a timely basis, including CT, VAT and RandD tax credit submissionsBeing the key point of contact for external auditorsReview of balance sheet reconciliations for all group companiesCashflow reporting and treasury management including some client cash accounting fundsAccounting for and processing group cost rechargesLead and develop a small teamTake the ..... full job details .....
