This is a hands-on role covering management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and year-end reporting, with line management responsibility for a small team. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate, timely financial information for the group management accounts pack Manage departmental budget review and business partnering for non-curriculum areas Lead forecasting of staffing costs, including scenario modelling Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and oversee control account checks Line manage three direct reports, including BACS run authorisation Support the annual budgeting and planning cycle Act as key contact for external auditors and support year-end statements/regulatory returns Prepare and submit VAT returns to HMRC Reconcile core funding and monitor cash flow About You CCAB or CIMA qualified Grade C/above in Maths and English (or equivalent) Strong experience of management accounts, year-end reporting and audit liaison Experience of forecasting, scenario modelling and budget s...
