Group Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a successful Construction Group in Sheffield as they look to recruit a Group Accountant into the team. This role reports to the Senior Group Accountant and works closely with the Group Financial Controller. This key role will be responsible for accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting for the Group. The company offers a fantastic benefits package:- Salary up to £54,500 (Dependent on Experience) Car Allowance of £6,480 26 days holiday + stats bank per annum Discretionary Bonus Scheme Holiday Buy and Carry Over Scheme Company Pension Scheme Private Medical Insurance Scheme Healthshield membership Life Assurance Scheme Share Purchase Plan Highstreet/ Store Discounts Good Development Opportunities It will be a varied role with duties to include: - Monthly consolidation and preparation of Group results Half year results consolidation and interim accounts reporting Year end results consolidation and statutory financial statements including PLC consolidated accounts and 7 trading subsidiaries (all IFRS) Consolidating the annual budget and preparing budget reporting packs Providing accounting support to the operating divisions Liaising with external auditors during the annual audit process Supporting the timely completion of tax returns and payments Reporting the cash position of the Group through accurate daily tracking and forecasting Ad hoc projects / analysis as required You will ideally have the ..... full job details .....
