Groundworks Supervisor - Greenwich Project duration: Ongoing Salary: £250.00 per shift Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Site Hours: 07.30am - 17.30pm UKR Group is looking for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to start ASAP in a job in Greenwich. Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all groundworks activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Manage a team of groundworkers, plant operators, and subcontractors to deliver works to agreed deadlines and quality standards. Interpret and implement engineering drawings, setting-out information, and method statements. Monitor site progress, identifying and resolving any delays, defects, or technical issues. Liaise with site management, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments in line with health and safety legislation. Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools, equipment, and plant. Maintain accurate site records, including timesheets, delivery notes, and progress reports. Ensure environmental standards are adhered to, including waste management and pollution prevention measures. Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with proven experience supervising site operatives.
