Grounworks Operative

Our client is looking for-experienced Rail Groundworkers-to join their permanent workforce on rail and civil engineering projects across North-Wales.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous-rail or civils experience and relevant PTS/tickets-who are looking for secure, long-term employment with a reputable contractor on rail or non rail projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out groundworks and general civil engineering duties within a rail or non rail-environment.
• Assist with excavation, drainage, concreting, foundations and associated works.
• Operate plant and equipment where suitably qualified.
• Follow site RAMS, safety procedures and railway standards.
• Work effectively as part of a site team.
• Undertake nights, weekends and possession work when required.

Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety)-if wanting to work on the rail projects.
• Relevant-rail/civil engineering tickets and competencies.
• Experience working within possessions and around railway infrastructure.
• CSCS/CPCS/NPORS tickets where applicable.
