Groundworks Supervisor Northallerton Location: NorthallertonStart Date: End of OctoberRate: £25.00 £26.00 per hourHours: Approx. 45 hours per weekDuration: Long-term, with potential for permanent employmentWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to join a new-build care home project in Northallerton, starting at the end of October.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all groundworks operations on site, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.Duties and Responsibilities: Supervising and coordinating all groundworks activities on siteManaging groundworkers and subcontractorsEnsuring works are completed to programme and required standardsMonitoring health and safety and ensuring site procedures are followedLiaising with site management, subcontractors and other tradesCarrying out quality checks and ensuring specifications are metMonitoring progress and reporting any issues to the Site Manager/Project ManagerEnsuring the site is kept safe, organised and productive Requirements: Relevant groundworks supervisory experienceSMSTS essentialCSCS essentialFirst Aid desirableStrong knowledge of groundworks and construction site proceduresGood communication and leadership skillsAbility to manage a team and work to deadlinesMust have experience working in a supervisory role on relevant construction projects There is also the opportunity for a permanent position for the right ..... full job details .....
