Job Title: Groundworkers Squad Location: Elgin Start: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Hours: TBC Rate: Negotiable Corrie Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Groundworkers Squad to carry out house foundation works on a housing development site in Elgin. This is an exciting opportunity for a 3-person squad that consists of a Ganger, Digger Operator and Groundworker/Labourer. Ganger Supervise and coordinate the groundworks squad to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Coordinate daily tasks and liaise with site management. Ensure work is completed to the required standards and within agreed timescales. Maintain site health and safety standards and ensure the team follows safe working practices. Digger Operator Operate excavators safely and efficiently to excavate house foundations and trenches. Assist with site preparation, levelling and material movement as required. Work closely with the Ganger and Groundworker to ensure accurate and efficient progress. Carry out daily plant checks and follow all site health and safety procedures. Groundworker/Labourer Assist with the preparation and excavation of house foundations. Carry out general groundworks duties Support the Digger Operator and Ganger to ensure work is completed efficiently. Maintain a clean and tidy working area and follow all site health and safety requirements. Requirements Previous experience working on housing developments and house foundations.
