If you are an experienced Groundworks Project Manager-looking to join a well-established civil engineering contractor, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of projects across Yorkshire. It''s not a multi-site role, you will be stationed at an individual project, until completion. This Groundworks Project Manager position offers long-term security, a strong pipeline of work and the opportunity to work with an experienced management team. As a Groundworks-Project Manager you will oversee projects from pre-start through to final handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme and within budget. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial groundworks & civils-who enjoys the support of a professional and well-drilled organisation.-

About the Role

You will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of commercial groundworks and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently and to the required programme, quality and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing groundworks projects from pre-start through to completion
• Supporting and overseeing Site Managers across live developments
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
• Coordinating labour, plant, subcontractors and material resources
• Monitoring programme performance and resolving issues before they affect delivery
• Working closely with Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors and clients
• Maintaining strong relationships with site teams, clients and stakeholders

To be successful, you should have:

• Previous experience as a Project Manager within groundworks or civil engineering
• Strong background delivering commercial groundwork projects-
• Excellent knowledge of drainage, foundations, roads, sewers and external works
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• SMSTS
• CSCS Managers Card
• First Aid at Work
• Full UK Driving Licence

Additional qualifications such as Temporary Works Coordinator, IOSH, NEBOSH or NRSWA would be advantageous but are not essential.
