Henry Blue is recruiting a Groundworks, Civil and Railway Engineering Lecturer for a well-established, forward-thinking FE college in Nottinghamshire. You''ll teach Level 1, 2 and 3 Groundworks, Civil and Railway Engineering courses to young people and adult learners, including full-time students and employed apprentices. You''ll be part of the Engineering department and report to the Head of Department. What''s on offer Salary up to £42,000 DOE 39 days'' holiday, including bank holidays and a two-week Christmas closure 37 hours per week, worked flexibly A workplace pension scheme A move off the tools into a rewarding and stable teaching career The role Plan, deliver and develop theory and practical lessons at Levels 1 3 Assess learners and keep accurate records of their progress Create and develop learning resources Act as personal tutor to a group of learners Help with quality reviews and keep up to date with curriculum and industry changes What we''re looking for Recent industry experience in Groundworks, Civil Engineering or Rail Engineering A Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade, or willingness to work towards one A1 Assessor award or equivalent, or willingness to complete it within 6 months English and Maths at Level 2, or willingness to work towards them within 6 months A full driving licence and/or your own transport Good ..... full job details .....
